About me

My initial training was in the psychodynamic approach (understanding how your past experiences, your unconscious mind and impulses shape your current feelings and behaviour). I then studied Gestalt for many years; an integrative, humanistic and person-centred framework (focusing on the immediate here and now while allowing a new perspective on past events using creative interventions and experiments). Further, I have undertaken continued professional development and integrated many other theoretical perspectives into my practice, including CBT and somatic trauma training. I am currently delivering psychedelic-assisted therapy for PTSD at clinical trials in London. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, operating under and bound by their ethical framework. I also hold an up-to-date advanced DBS check certificate and am registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).

In addition to my therapeutic career, I have worked in the social justice sector for over 4 years and thoroughly understand the connection between personal well-being and the broader systems we are a part of. Being neurodivergent, I understand that we all have unique ways of connecting and communicating with each other and the world. I actively strive to improve my awareness and education around intersectional topics, including disability, racism and discrimination, developing an understanding of how it plays out in society and impacts us.

To start your journey with me, I provide a free, no-commitment 15-20 minute telephone consultation to explore how working together might feel and identify the best approach and structure for you.

My fee is £60 per 50-minute session, and I can offer concessions and flexible session length times to find a rhythm and structure best suited to you. I provide online or telephone sessions for both short-term and open-ended therapy.

My approach is to create a safe, impartial and non-judgemental space that belongs to you, to enable a brave exploration of yourself, your behaviours, and your story. With a range of skills developed over 15 years of study, practice and personal development, I can pull from various modalities to meet you in a way that facilitates the most change with the goal of no longer being impacted negatively by the past.

I strongly believe in the power of humour as a tool to help us when things are dark; a well-placed laugh can shine a light into the deepest of glooms and give us hope when we need it most.
